Blind Draft is a local-first writing app. Your privacy is simple because the app is simple: we do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data.
What we collect
Nothing. Blind Draft has no accounts, no login, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no backend server. We never see your drafts.
Where your data lives
- All drafts, sessions, and settings are stored only on your device using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData and system preferences).
- Your writing never leaves your device unless you choose to share or export it (via the iOS Share Sheet, Copy, or saving a
.txt,.md, or.pdffile). When you do that, your content goes wherever you send it, under that destination's own privacy terms. - If you delete the app, your local drafts are removed with it. We keep no copy.
Purchases
Blind Draft Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
This website
This website has no analytics, cookies or tracking scripts. Links to the App Store include a campaign token so Apple's App Analytics can count which page a download came from. Apple reports these only as aggregate numbers.
Children's privacy
Blind Draft does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new "Last updated" date.
