Blind Draft stores every draft only on your device. There's no account, no login, no analytics, no advertising and no backend server. Your writing leaves the device only when you copy, share or export it yourself. Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple.
First drafts are private by nature: half-formed ideas, honest sentences, things you'd never publish as written. Blind Draft is built so that private writing stays private.
What that means in practice
- No account. Open the app and write. There's no sign-up, email or password.
- No analytics or tracking. The app doesn't collect usage data or track you across apps.
- No ads. Not in the free plan, not anywhere.
- No server. Drafts, sessions and settings are stored on your device using Apple's on-device storage.
- You choose what leaves. Copy, share, or export as .txt (free) or Markdown and PDF (Pro). You can also back up all drafts as a zip of text files to the Files app.
- Face ID lock (Pro). Lock the app so someone picking up your phone can't open your drafts.
What happens if I delete the app?
Your drafts are removed with it, because they only ever lived on your device. Use Back up all drafts in Settings first if you want to keep them.
Frequently asked questions
Does Blind Draft sync drafts to iCloud?
No. Drafts stay on the device you wrote them on. To move them, export or back up from Settings and save the file where you like.
Does Blind Draft use AI on my writing?
No. Blind Draft doesn't send your writing anywhere, and there's no AI analyzing it.
How is Pro purchased?
Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. Blind Draft never sees your payment details. Restore it on another device with Restore Purchase.
